Scheduled - On July 15, 2026, the Zcash network will undergo the scheduled NU6.3 (Ironwood) network upgrade. Activation is expected at block height 3,428,143, which is currently estimated to occur at approximately 14:00 UTC. This timing is an estimate and may change depending on block production times.

For BitGo customers, here's what this means during the maintenance window:

- BitGo will perform a maintenance window of approximately 6 hours around the expected activation time to ensure a smooth transition to the upgraded network.
- ZEC sends and receives may experience temporary delays or be briefly unavailable during this period.
- We recommend avoiding sending or receiving ZEC transactions during the maintenance window whenever possible.
- Once the network upgrade has been successfully completed and verified, all services will resume as normal.
